"Queenie" & Cammie Read are originally from Indiana. They have always had a
love for the mountains and mountain town culture and after visiting Jackson Hole
for many years, they finally made the move here 6 years ago.

Cammie began working in retail while she was in high school, and became the manager of the store she worked at. She developed a strong business sense doing
this and learned a lot about the industry. She decided that she wanted to go
further in the fashion industry and maybe one day have her own store. Her mother, "Queenie" thought it was a fun ideas as well. So between mother and daughter, they came up with a vision for the store they wanted to open, and in May of 2005 their vision became a reality.

Their main goal with the store is to offer fashionable and unique, yet affordable
items. They try to cater to a wide variety of clientele by carrying everything from sparkly tube tops to hoodies, and everything in between. And as Jackson locals know, this is a different kind of store than the others in town - and it is something
that Jackson needs.

Cammie and Queenie will always keep Jackson as their original store, but one day hope to expand to other towns/cities as well. They have their eyes out for new locations and are open to any ideas of a great place for another Queenie & Company store.
